Once upon a time...
almost 20 years ago, there were 20 acres of bogland in a rocky gorge in the valley of Dee. Having seen a "Storybook garden" in Canada some years earliar, a relation of our family had the idea of turning the gorge into Storybook Glen.

Corporate Entertainment
There is nowhere quite like Storybook Glen when it comes to corporate entertainment that everyone will enjoy! You can choose Family Days where literally all ages can join in, or Corporate Evenings with a disco or band for you to dance the night away. There is no hire charge whatsoever and we will be pleased to discuss your catering your requirements to whatever standard you require. Other attractions can be arranged (at extra cost) such as bouncy castles, face painting, pony rides and lots more – just ask... we’re open to suggestions!

School Packages & Educational Trips
Apart from the obvious delights of the many nursery rhyme characters featured in the Glen, the area is well known for its considerable natural beauty and a visit could be a great introduction to the joys of nature study. We have over the years been fortunate to have been paid a visit by not only deer, mink and foxes but also a large variety of our feathered friends such as sparrowhawkes, moorhens, sandpipers to name but a few.
Of course Old Macdonald’s farmhouse provides town children with a glimpse of what life can be like on a farm.
